"We can, by becoming vegan, refuse to be complicit in the torture of billions of animals for corporate profit and can have the well-documented health benefits associated with a plant-based diet, especially in the areas of heart disease and cancer." Chris Hedges is beginning to make connections...
The animal agriculture industry is the primary cause of the destruction of the ecosystem. Becoming vegan is the most important step we can take to save the planet. - 2014/11/09

Good stuff Diane! I wish all conversations with our "twins" went so well! Very clever - thank you! ;)

"The scale of the suffering we induce in animals, though, should force us to at least question our attitudes, especially given our track record. Just over 50 years ago in this country, for example, it was still acceptable to hold that black people were different in the relevant ways from white people and therefore their inferior treatment was justified. In general, humans are very good at making “us vs. them” distinctions and using those distinctions to care about one group over another. Given this last fact and the fact that there exist no checks to make us accountable for the way we treat animals, I think it’s overwhelmingly likely that the animal suffering we’re responsible for is unjustified."

Introduction
I'm interested in social justice causes and animal interests.  I'm passionate about my views but enjoy reasonable debate.  I understand there are different positions and perspectives - I just have no patience for people who want to tell me that being Vegan murders carrots... Trollers and flamers on my blog will be ignored and censured.  If you have an intelligent perspective to argue about -  I welcome the discussion.

Impossible to get any customer service from this company! They do not answer emails and their automated phone system is broken and doesn't allow you to leave messages. No response after 3 days trying to reach them regarding a recent purchase. I want to cancel an order (before it's even shipped) I have a feeling I'll be in for more headaches trying to get my money refunded when/if the item is ever delivered. Very bad customer service. I can only imagine their products are as defective. Do not buy from them!

Mr. Natriello is a pigeon shooter. This means he kills birds for pleasure. These pigeons are released from boxes and once shot are left to die horrible, slow deaths. No one with compassion would ever participate in such a "sport"... So how on earth could such an individual ever hope to heal or comfort anyone? I don't recommend his services - At all!

Totally depressing. Seeing the breeding of deer, elk and bison and then knowing they'll either spend their entire lives behind closed in fencing or released for hunter's "enjoyment". Breeding any being for profit is detestable and unnecessary. I also heard and read that many of the animals have been treated poorly and/or neglected. What do you expect from a business that makes money from exploiting others?
