If I have an active form/sheet that has data in it. Lets say i want to simply add more columns and change the order of existing fields as they show up on the edit/new form. Is the only way to change the order in which fields show up on the users end to change the order in which the columns appear in the sheet itself? I am hesitant to make changes to the sheet now that it is being used and fearful that the data will get corrupted and or unsynced causing issue for the users. The reason is that the column order was changed before and it did cause major problems and loss of data. Is there a right and suggested way to modify the app (particularly add new columns and change the existing order around) after it is being used without disruption?
