Here I was, minding my own business, dancing the night away (probably very badly) with a small group of friends. It was one of my good mate's 21st birthday, so we were out to celebrate, as you do. Suddenly, the bouncer approaches me and asks me to follow him. I am not one to disrespect authority, so I follow him, even though I am unsure about what the dillema is. He keeps asking me to follow him, so I do, and he takes me to the front door. He then demands that I vacate the premises and do not return "because I was sleeping." I was very very far from sleeping. I attempt to rebut, and so do my friends because they all know I was not at all sleeping. The bouncer then snatched me by my wrist, literally, and took me out of the bar. He was so aggressive that my wrist has a collection of intense scratches on it now because he grabbed/pulled so tightly and I was wearing a bracelet. I explained to him that I am an exchange student, my phone is broken, I'm new to Sydney and have NO idea how to get back to my hostel from the bar, it is late and dark, I am alone and vulnerable, and every single friend I have in Sydney is inside that bar right now, and I asked if I could at least go get them and then I would leave. He yelled at me and caused a scene. My friends left also, obviously, but I am really upset about the scratches all over my wrist and it kind of put a damper on my friend's birthday.
