The BOSS is the reason most people leave their jobs In the employee groups I lead. when asked to name the single most important aspect of their job- workers point to their manager/supervisor. Great relationship keeps them there (despite low pay, not great benefits) and lousy relationship makes them go (despite great pay and benefits). Reason enough to invest in the BOSS. #boss #workplacerelationships

According to this article, you need to consider '6 Hats' when making decisions. The purpose: 'preventing any confrontation'- because all styles (hats) are valid. Not sure I buy this. Confrontation (hat or no hat) should not be avoided- it's crucial to effective communication. MindTools.com #decisionmaking
