Richmond classic. Signature dishes are spaghettis with massive portion sizes, but sandwiches are a good option you won't need a take-home box for. Breakfast all day. Happy hour is very good, but arrive early as it ends at 6. Very popular, tight space, so don't expect peace and quiet on bar side at peak times.

Always loved my visits to Joe's inn. They've good burgers and subs. Friendly staff. They serve cream soda too which isn't found frequently in restaurants. Introduced the restaurant to few of my friends who loved it as well.

My favorite local bar to go have a beer. Tons to choose from and friendly staff.

Good food. Good service. Good prices. Staff is friendly and accommodating even when busy. Food is consistent and good. Not anything you couldn't make at home with a bit of effort but really good tasting. Two dollar signs because it is basic for the price. Must try neighborhood spot.

On a visit to Richmond with friends from Ohio, PA, & Tennessee, our very hungry group ended up at Joe's because we first tried to go someplace else (ahemmm, Can Can Brasserie) & A) parking was impossible, B) the wait was an hour & a half, & C) the hostesses were SO RUDE that after talking to them, we wouldn't have waited to eat there even if we'd been inclined to. A Twitter friend recommended Joe's, a guy told me over the phone that they had immediate space for us, & we headed that way. If we'd arrived a moment or two later, there would've been a line, but we got there just in the nick of time & didn't have to wait more than five minutes for someone to clean off a table for us. Our server asked if I was the one he'd just talked to on the phone & asked how we'd heard of the place; I told him of the Internet rec but said that his phone friendliness was the clincher. He chatted with us for a few moments about the concert we were headed to that night, & then we placed an order for, uh, SIGNIFICANT amount of food. The food wasn't anything to write home about, but it was standard brunch fair with large portions & relatively inexpensive prices - oh, yeah, & pitchers of mimosas. The service was awesome, & we were thrilled to give Joe's our money (& for Joe's to give us its food) instead of ending up elsewhere.

Warning they only have 3 six person tables so if you have a large party you're going to be waiting for an hour to be seated. The service was also terrible. The food was great though.

Great service...showed up on a Sunday morning with a party of 14..folks in Town for a wedding. I even called ahead to tell them, but they person answering the phone said don't worry, we got you...the service was awesome, it was almost as if our group of 14 was a "two top"...food was great too...everyone was super impressed...big shout out to "Steve" (our waiter) and the kitchen for a job well done!
