I get immediate gratification when I paint with transparent watercolors . However, it is very difficult to harness the fluidity of watercolors and by this interaction makes a painting interesting!
The more knowledge you gain about the subject matter, the easier it is to simplify it. However, the viewer with knowledge about the subject see’s more than what was intended by a single brush stroke. Moreover, the onlooker with little knowledge of the subject is still pleased without an arduous detailed representation of an object.
