The building itself is modern and very clean. There are so many sections to enjoy for all ages; the place caters to children by engaging them in story time and fun and educational computer programs. This library is quite a relaxing place to read thanks to all the windows giving off the El Paso sunlight. It's quiet surroundings is a bookworms paradise.

I love going to a library it's like home but this facility is the worst I have been to. The staff is not helpful at all.... no matter what the question you may have they look at you like you're dumb. The printer never works nor the printer they always have an issue. Staff gets bother when you are ready to check out your books and if you have any fines they ask you in a really rude manner if you are going to pay or not. I hope they change the staff soon... it should be pleasant to be in a library.

Maybe I am just used to university libraries and I understand there is a child area but the adults in this library are on the phone having loud long conversations and have their phones going off constantly the staff right now is failing to keep this place quite like a library should be. I had to come to the meeting room just to get away from the main part of the building and I can still here the noise coming from the main floor.

If I could give this place no stars i would. Their customer service is non existent and the main librarian acts like you are on her own private property and trespassing. Everyone that has complained we need to stand up and make this known to our city leadership.

The facility is lovely but the staff is extremely rude. I tutor here twice a week for the hour before closing and we are always "reminded" about 15 times during that hour that the library is about to close... even over the loudspeaker! It is very difficult for my student to concentrate with all the interruptions. The staff acts like we are intruding just for staying until closing time. It is very frustrating for him and for me. It is your job to keep the library open until closing! And what happened to the time when libraries were quiet?

I walked in 10 minutes till closing time and went to check out my books. They refused to let me check them out since I didn't have a library card and it was almost closing time. I asked how long it would take to be issued one. He said not long, maybe 2 minutes, but you'll have to come another time. Absolutely ridiculous, how They refuse to work a movie after closing time to help acitizen. Library is nice, but the staff is horrible

I'd rate a negative 5 if it were possible. My 6 year old sister had an awful experience due to a supposed manager at this library named Elizabeth. For lack of better words, she's a witch! It is a definite long story to tell which is why I complained and I hope the manager takes action against that foul woman. She should not work in a place where young children go to read and have fun everyday when she doesn't have the customer service skills to give them just that. Hopefully I won't have to continue to try and convince my little sister to go and she'll love to go on her own. I am extremely disappointed in this library. Would not recommend to anyone.

Talk about horrible hours! 1-6 on a Friday seriously? I needed a quiet place to study for my exams on Friday mornings and I take a bus all the way over here to find your hours are different on Friday. 1-6 isn't helpful to most people.
