Joni, I recently retired and am new to day time TV, I recored my first show of Southern Charm and thought i will never watch again , felt like other comments, but replayed to watch clothes, jewelry and houses I could not stop watching the train wreack.  I live in Alabama and we have a  lot of old homes maybe not as grand.  The grass and yard needed lots of work but also the shutter that was hanging by a thread. I love the post and all the designs. One tone in the south we use a lot of cotton to decorate. My son-in-law ,they live in birmingham, who is a surgeon has a cotton farm in dallas county and he farm himself with his father.  I wish you could see him at the end of the day with all the dirt on him you would never think he always work around a sterile environment. Really most of the people her in Monroe County farm their own farms.  So we don't think like you were. Love your blog
