"The Bolivian Milky Way"
Top 12 Images of 2012 (http://bit.ly/130ciJn
When it comes to exploring countries that still feel wild and untamed, there are truly not that many options left on this planet. However located in the heart of South America, Bolivia is a somewhat hidden jewel. It sits in relative isolation between the mighty Andes and the jungles of the Amazon, which helps it maintain its adventurous feel. Bolivia is easily one of my favorite countries to work in when it comes to landscape photography. When you mix gorgeous volcanoes with varied terrain and some of the darkest skies I have ever seen...there is a lot to love about the country. I am working on putting together a workshop for 2014, so stay tuned.
This photo was taken one night above the Coipasa Salt Flats in the middle of Bolivia. At the bottom of the image, you will see the reflection of the night sky bouncing off the shallow salt water. You can view the rest of my top 12 images of 2012 here:http://www.colbybrownphotography.com/a-year-in-reflection-2012/Camera Details:
