Jamie Oliver's Pasta Peperonata
This week I went with another Jamie Oliver recipe. The last time I blogged a Jamie Oliver recipe it was a wildly successful post and dinner. I had to try his meatball-making technique, one that I still use to this day. Today however is a simple pasta dish. ...

Oh man it's great to be back on the blog! So much to say, and yet I have to keep reminding myself that I don't have to say it all in a single post. A lot has changed since my last post including my getting a new job and our buying a new house last October. ...

What would you make with these ingredients? The green is fresh basil chiffonade as well as Italian oregano fresh from the garden. Garlic and pepperoni, of course.

I'm about a month late making this post. I've been meaning to chronicle my garden from week to week just to share and to also monitor growth and record experiences. So, here goes: I don't have much of a yard, and what little ...

Surprisingly tastey and filling despite it being "guilt-free" and "healthiness" :D

I whipped this together the other night on a whim, and it turned out to be one of the best things I've ever cooked!

Introduction
Kitchen Noob is the best term I could describe for myself and my kitchen exploits. I've blundered through recipes, whether cooking or baking, and have come to rely on knowledge and experience to hopefully yield some good food. Sometimes the only good thing I can say about my creations is that at least I learned something from it. Other times my intuition guides me to create a masterpeice.

Cooking is an art that creates something timeless and relational. At every social event there is food whether it is a light refreshment or a full course dinner. The food connects us. At the center of our most intimate memories there is food: a hotdog at the baseball game, a wedding cake, Grandma's Christmas dinner. I think it is the secret desire of every chef to make this meal the most memorable.
