I just needed more RAM for my MacPro Dual Quad I bought last year. Frys in Manhattan Beach didn't have any, The Apple Store just across the way at the Manhattan Beach Mall wouldn't sell me any because they would need to install it as an upgrade or service. That's moronic as it stands. I schlepped down to Torrance from Manhattan Beach during rush hour because I have a big project due and I needed the extra RAM so I wouldn't gather cobwebs during the process. I should have known that the "Clerk" POS71 had no clue what he was doing because he couldn't find either my computer model or memory configuration from the info I copied from the System Profiler. Needless to say that he sold me the wrong memory (it was for a MacBook Pro). I guess I should have grabbed a memory module and paraded it in front of his face so he could get it right but I though since the sign said "MAC" Mall, I wouldn't have to. Note to self: Don't think that just because they work in a Mac store they know anything more than you do.

My wife and I had two bad experiences with the 1800 support line for our Linksys G router. Setting it up was a nightmare, however when we explain our problem to Chris Quilisch the MacMall manager in Torrance Ca. he recommended the Cisco Valet M10 N trouble free router. Chris spent a good amount of time with us and when we went home with the router our Desktop, Laptop and printer was hooked up within 15 minutes. MacMall was a great experience and the store was loaded with beautiful Macs and some Windows based computers. We will be back for sure to this store in the near future. Also plenty of staff to help you with any questions.

3:09 received the call that my iMac is ready... 1-2 days later than expected. At least it wasn't Sunday!
