Used to love DIG. The food is still great, but as of late, the service has left a lot to be desired. We went there for brunch this past weekend with a party of 6. Only a quarter of the tables in the restaurant were taken, but it took nearly an hour to get our food. I hope they can turn it around because I really do enjoy this place.

The hostess was not very friendly but the waitress was smiley and great. We've been here three times (because we feel like this place has so much potential! But have been disappointed each time) and the waiter service is a hit or miss. We got the angus beef burger and asked for it medium well done but it was two levels above that and very dry and charcoaly. This is coming from someone who likes well done meat. There was no taste to the burger. We also got the pain Perdu upon reading the raving reviews but it was too heavy and way too much bread. Wasn't any special French toast. The mascarpone cheese didn't look or taste like mascarpone at all. It tasted like a solid stick of butter mixed with fruits. The beet salad was good but nothing special. Similar for kale chips. The shrimp and grits, on the other hand, were the best I ever had. Simply divine. I got a carrot, beet, ginger, celery, and spinach juice. A little too heavy on the spinach and beets. I asked for extra ginger but it was not very ginger-y. Next time I will be sure to specify the proportions of vegetables. The concept is great but the execution in food and restaurant ambiance (very cheap-feely diner-like with brightly-colored plastic chairs) is lacking. This restaurant would be excellent with rustic tables to give it a more farm-to-table terroir.

Very friendly staff and unique menu. The food is very fresh and from organic farms I really like the beet salad, French toast and paella.

Our food order was correct but the food was not worth the 35 min wait. We had a $45 breakfast with very little flavor and appeal. our server was very nice; however no one greeted us or said good bye.

Inspired and unique menu options executed consistently well. The prices are a bit on the high side, but the quality justifies it.My wife is an espresso aficionado, and we were both impressed with the quality of their cappuccino. Easily the best brunch spot in town.
