Was here for 3 nights on a work trip. The location of this hotel is great, right in the middle of downtown, so you can walk everywhere and have lots of options for meals. The prudential building/mall is a 3 minute walk and has lots of stores and quick dinner options as well. The decor of the rooms seems very outdated. The rooms themselves are big, but the bathroom is tiny (like nyc studio apt small). They don't have a platinum/starwood lounge which was very disappointing for a hotel this size. I prefer the Sheraton down the street, it's updated and has a good lounge.

Great Location, Very Good Quality and Spacious Room Diane checked us in with a big smile and gave us a room on the 26th Floor with a very nice view of Boston City. Our room was spacious with updated amenities and was quiet and clean. Heavenly bed in our room was very comfortable and we had a good night sleep during our stay. Wi-Fi in the lobby was free, in room Wi-Fi was $12.95 with strong signal and good speed. There's an indoor swimming pool that we didn't use during our stay but we visited that area and looked inviting. Maybe next time we will give it a try. The location of this Westin is wonderful, steps away from Back Bay station and Copley Square. If you arrived at South Station you could take commuter rail for one stop to Back Bay Station for $2 (purchase at the station, if on the train will be $5). If you are going to South Station, you can take commuter rail too and will be free of charge but much less frequent than T and to board the train was somewhat more complicated(many times, only can board in the middle of the train). If you preferred walking, Boston common and Fenway Park are all within walking distance. All in all, The Westin Copley Place is a nice hotel throughout and we strongly recommend it as a nice base touring beautiful Boston City. Stayed May 2013, traveled as a couple

Just came back from my Bobbi Brown Training at Westin Copley Rockport-Ipswich Room, the coldest experience ever! The room was so cold from 9AM-5PM that everyone needs to wear their outside jacket during the meeting! We told the server many times to turn up the heat and they reply they did but that was that they didn't do anything else like move us or serve us hot food. All the food was cold (except for the soup) the grilled chicken sandwich was cold, have they not hear of microwave? The woman bathroom was disgusting, one of the toilet have sh*t brown water from morning until we left and housekeeping doesn't bother to come over? The only reason this review got two star is because of our server, Van, was very nice and attentive so great job on the staff.

Pretty nice overall. Clean & large rooms. Not familiar enough with Boston to determine if it's in a convenient location, but personally I thought it was okay. Probably 15-25 min walk/train ride from nearly every touristy location. Nice, helpful staff.

We stayed at the Westin Copley Place last week and had a great experience. It's a good hotel but the people that work there make it spectacular! We go every year at the same time for a conference ... it's always good to go back and they remember us from year to year. Dan, Christina, and Marques at the front desk ... the bellman who checks you in for parking ... Vladimir, the parking attendant ... all do a fantastic job of making the Westin a great experience. Thank you!

Disappointing for such a high price. Pros: Room was clean, bathroom large and a nice shower. Location is central to Boston. Service was excelllent. Cons: Terrible shops in the hotel; Over charging for the internet (I am amazed hotels think they can charge 15- 20 dollars a day for internet in this day and age). They lock down the TV making it very difficult for you to use your own devices to watch your own media. Had to buy a VGA/Audio cable from radio shack to get around the hotel mode TV. MASSIVE CON: Breakfast. What a joke. The room they have isn't big enough to accommodate the hotel guests they have. I was there 5 days and had to queue up 4 of them, once for half an hour. The breakfast costs 25 dollars. Massively overpriced and just another hotel praying on guests charging it to their companies. I wouldn't come back due to the internet and breakfast being so mediocre.

Goods - Nice and prompt service. In the core part of boston, easily reachable from Prudential tower, Hynes conference center Shops near by Cabs are available right at the door Nice riverside view ( for some rooms) Bads - 1) Surprised to know that the rooms were not available as per my booking. I had to sleep on sofa-cum-bed temporary arrangement on first day of my stay. 2) No shuttle service to airport 3) Found some maintainance related minor issues in the room 4) Internet is free only in the lobby
