They already do this quite a bit. There's the super pricey Artist's Editions but there's also YoeBooks (from Craig Yoe, I'm assuming), The Library of American Comics (which collects newspaper strips in hardcover) and some with the standard IDW logo. The color on their Starstruck series a few years ago was beautiful. However, I have some examples from back in the early 'lightbulb' days, such as their two volume set of Mister X trades reprinting the Vortex stories. They're just a couple of issues short of being complete, which seemed like an arbitrary omission, but even some of the stories they did include are missing a page here or there! I'm hoping that if there's a dedicated department handling archival trades that they'll maintain the higher quality they are capable of more consistently.
