Payne's Prairie is a good spot, but I don't know if you can be out there that late. You might try Flavet Field on campus, that's big and open!

Jupiter and it's moons. One time, as a kid, I was able to see it through a telescope. Certainly, our probes have many more detailed and closer pictures, but there is something a bit magical about looking through a smaller telescope and seeing the planet (and moons) directly with your own eyes. It's like being Galileo!

My current favorite flavor of Linux is the Fedora Scientific Spin. It automatically comes loaded with a lot of useful packages and it is smaller than the full install.

For +Paul Bierdz; it's from last September, but here you go! (Jupiter's pretty low in the evenings now, and it's not easy to get a good picture with a bigger telescope since it's so bright that it saturates the CCD.)

I have some of Saturn that aren't the best, although with it rising a little earlier now I might get some this spring. I have some other pics up here - http://astro.ufl.edu/~ajtownsend/page2/page2.html (The other planets are significantly less interesting to take pictures of.)

Space!
NASA originally shared:

34 years on and our Voyager 1 spacecraft is still making discoveries at the edge of our solar system. Here's the latest from the American Geophysical Union meeting today in San Francisco.
NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft has entered a new region between our solar system and interstellar space.

Well, why would we want to spend money on science? It's not like it ever benefits anyone. >< ARGH. (Where the definition of not ever is almost always.)
