Russell just keeps on getting funnier. Keep it up Rus, its hilarious. Best parody of a clueless socialist since Rick in the Young Ones.

Eventually it figures out that the only winning move is not to play.

Would be really nice if Google released the Linux client sometime soon. The biggest advantage of using cloud storage is that it's available on all my devices, that doesn't work if you don't have a Linux client!
Google updated the Drive app for Windows and Mac. The latest version (1.19.8268.4572) brings new features: the Drive menu shows the latest synced files, there's a new three-dot contextual menu that shows the previous items fr...

Some of our scientists are lending their expertise to the Lunar Mission One project.

Lunar Mission One, officially unveiled today, will send a robot explorer to the moon to drill further below the surface than any previous missions, accessing rock up to 4.5 billion years old.

The mission will also leave behind a capsule containing a digital archive of the history of human civilisation and 'memory boxes' containing information from the general public who support the project through Kickstarter.

Read more about our involvement in the project here: http://ow.ly/EwFtT

You can also watch the live Lunar Mission One announcement event online from 2:40pm GMT here: http://launch.lunarmissionone.com/

So I tried Inbox for a month and didn't really thing it was that great. I loved the preview that is given of mail contents and how certain emails are grouped together, but I just didn't really get the rest of it. Is there something I'm missing? Should I keep using it until I get used to it?

That doesn't answer my question. Look better to the discussion we were having.

So, 'Jihadi John' is Mohammed Emwazi, a young Kuwaiti immigrant from Queen’s Park in north-west London, another first-rate product of the British education system. Queen’s Park is one of those very mixed…

Absolutely amazing. AI is improving very fast.

Building computer generated descriptions of images from raw pixels

“Two pizzas sitting on top of a stove top oven”
“A group of people shopping at an outdoor market”
“Best seats in the house”

People can summarize a complex scene in a few words without thinking twice. It’s much more difficult for computers. But we’ve just gotten a bit closer -- we’ve developed a machine-learning system that can automatically produce captions (like the three above) to accurately describe images the first time it sees them.

By constructing a model that combines a vision Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with a language-generating Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), the system can take an image and generate a fitting natural-language caption. Head over to the Google Research blog to learn more.

Burger and fries were really good but far too pricey for what we got. It's overpriced by about 1/3.

Been here a few times, mostly for high teas and Sunday lunches. Always impressed with the food and the service is good.

One of my favourite pubs in Edinburgh. Good selection of ales and whiskies. Friendly staff and patrons. Nice warm fire for cold nights.

My girlfriend had her 30th birthday in their function room. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Night went off without any problems. The staff cleaned up the function room after our use and had everything waiting for us to pick up the next day. Prices were also very reasonable.

Stopped off during a walk along the coastal path. Lovely place, nice helpful staff and good food. We had the high tea on a Saturday which was very reasonably priced and was delicious. Would recommend.
