Today, we join the United States in celebrating history. This is more than celebrating during Pride month, more than wearing purple to support the Spirit Day. This is about celebrating that, in the U.S., as well as a growing list of countries, the lifelong commitment any two people choose to make to one another will […]

I was here for three nights for a conference and the hotel was a solid option. My room was impeccably clean upon arrival and well-maintained thereafter. Meeting space was easy to navigate and user friendly. The best part is you have easy access to shopping and restaurants across the street. Also, there's a beautiful Equinox gym available (for a fee) to guests. #LA #Hotel

This place is beautiful in every way. The staff is very attentive and the entire hotel has professional yet relaxing vibe. I will be sure to visit the next time I'm in Los Angeles.

Pros: Nice view, good location, food pricey but good, and beautiful decor and pool area. Cons: everything is an additional cost including Wifi... beds were quite old and not very comfortable. Some wear and tear in rooms that could be spruced up a bit. Not bad by any means but also room for improvement.

I tagged along with my wife as she attended a conference at the Hyatt one weekend. The rates we paid were discounted from the normal price, so my level of satisfaction is very high for the price. I'd never experienced valet parking, and was uncomfortable at first with the thought of it. I can now see why people pay extra for it. It makes you feel like a star! All of the staff was exceptionally friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is great, and it's easy to walk to several things (a very nice shopping center and movie theater are about 5 minutes away on foot). The pool area was fantastic. I spent several hours reading in the sun, and jumped in the pool as well. They had great music playing all weekend, and there was a movie playing one evening as well. I'd spend another weekend hanging out here, given the opportunity!

What a wonderful find! We were in Baltimore for a convention and decided to make it an extended vacation into CA . We decided to take the MARC train from Baltimore since we were traveling with a toddler boy and didn't want to bother with renting a car and a car seat. The hotel is literally less than 3 short blocks from the train station and a few blocks from the Capitol. When you check in, they have a "treasure chest" for kids filled with toys. The front desk people were super friendly and knowledgeable of the area. From 5 to 6 pm, they have a complimentary cocktail hour . The gentleman running the cocktail hour was very friendly too. The hotel is very modern, clean, and comfortable. Each room has a large screen tv with direct tv, a fridge, a safe, a chair with an ottoman, and a desk with a chair. Very happy we chose the hotel George vs. some other hotel near the national mall. We were still close enough to visit many of the museums.

Worth the price. Friendly valet staffs. My tip is park your car at surrounding streets for $14 overnight and just use uber cause parking is hard to find and expensive

The best gm and staff anywhere! we had an amazing wedding on august 11 th, 2014. The general manager susan santiago made sure her staff was on top of everything throughout. Albeit, we were a small group, they made us feel like we had a thousand guests. everyone from doorman, bell men, servers and of course Brooke Synder was amazing. It was obvious the staff was as kind and generous as their leader and General Manger. Our rooms were clean and beautiful. As a special treat they sent my partner and I champagne, chocolates and strawberries. This is the place to stay, have an event or a quiet drink in the lounge. Whatever you do, make sure you stay here while in Los Angeles, youll be happy you did.

I attended a conference at the hotel and wasn't sure what to expect. Even though the price required me to have roommates, the hotel service and set-up was worth it. The bottom three floors were used for the conference. They were a bit chilly, but I expected that. When you have that many people, it's better to wear layers. The hotel provided beverages and ample bathrooms. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable in the main ballroom, but we were given time to stretch. In our rooms, we were given enough towels and didn't need to bother the staff too much. They helped store our luggage when we needed it and the internet access was decent (provided by our conference, but they appear to charge otherwise). There was a banquet, which was done well. The staff did everything they could with the food needs (I'm vegan and another person at my table was gluten-free). They made sure to check up on us, even when they were busy. The hotel is located within walking distance of the mall and gave many food choices outside of the hotel. It also gave me some good walking space to help stretch. Note: If you do parking, go for the valet. The hotel owns the parking and it's cheaper. My husband used this service more than I did, and he commented that he could live with it forever. I'm hoping to attend more conferences at this hotel, even with the price. It's a great set-up and service was excellent.
