This place is beautiful in every way. The staff is very attentive and the entire hotel has professional yet relaxing vibe. I will be sure to visit the next time I'm in Los Angeles.

I tagged along with my wife as she attended a conference at the Hyatt one weekend. The rates we paid were discounted from the normal price, so my level of satisfaction is very high for the price. I'd never experienced valet parking, and was uncomfortable at first with the thought of it. I can now see why people pay extra for it. It makes you feel like a star! All of the staff was exceptionally friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is great, and it's easy to walk to several things (a very nice shopping center and movie theater are about 5 minutes away on foot). The pool area was fantastic. I spent several hours reading in the sun, and jumped in the pool as well. They had great music playing all weekend, and there was a movie playing one evening as well. I'd spend another weekend hanging out here, given the opportunity!

Beautiful Hotel, the rooms have great views. Staff was a bit pompous but that's to be expected in LA.

A very luxurious hotel, with a retro flair to it. The location is optimal (provided that you have a car), as it is central to several attractions. There are some quibbles about the lack of a few amenities (such as complimentary in-room wi-fi, and no complimentary gym usage for guests), but those can be overlooked with all other things considered. Don't forget to enjoy the casual and stylish pool area out back. And if you are driving (which you should be in this area) get the valet-parking-included package, which pays for itself quickly.

Pros: Nice view, good location, food pricey but good, and beautiful decor and pool area. Cons: everything is an additional cost including Wifi... beds were quite old and not very comfortable. Some wear and tear in rooms that could be spruced up a bit. Not bad by any means but also room for improvement.

I attended a conference at the hotel and wasn't sure what to expect. Even though the price required me to have roommates, the hotel service and set-up was worth it. The bottom three floors were used for the conference. They were a bit chilly, but I expected that. When you have that many people, it's better to wear layers. The hotel provided beverages and ample bathrooms. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable in the main ballroom, but we were given time to stretch. In our rooms, we were given enough towels and didn't need to bother the staff too much. They helped store our luggage when we needed it and the internet access was decent (provided by our conference, but they appear to charge otherwise). There was a banquet, which was done well. The staff did everything they could with the food needs (I'm vegan and another person at my table was gluten-free). They made sure to check up on us, even when they were busy. The hotel is located within walking distance of the mall and gave many food choices outside of the hotel. It also gave me some good walking space to help stretch. Note: If you do parking, go for the valet. The hotel owns the parking and it's cheaper. My husband used this service more than I did, and he commented that he could live with it forever. I'm hoping to attend more conferences at this hotel, even with the price. It's a great set-up and service was excellent.

An unpleasant experience. The staff was O.K. but the hotel charges a lot for every service: Wifi in the room - 10$ per night. Parking - 38$ per night. The location wasn't good so you can't go anywere witout a car. Not recomended!

We stayed in this hotel for Vidcon 2011, and I loved it! The elevator voice is so iconic and smooth. Amazing pool, and amazing view. Came back in 2013 for the nostalgia. Arrested Development season 4 was filmed in the hotel as well! Quite cool.
