I know of no libertarian reason the military should pay for gender transformations.  I do not oppose self-ownership.  I only oppose the use of force to make taxpayers pay for this.  So how can this be labelled a least libertarian moment?

Libertarians should favor easy legal immigration to the US, but I see no reason to embrace the entry of people who are inclined to break the laws.  At the least, felons should be kept out.

Or go Galt.  There are many ways to minimize the one's cross-section to the trajectory of government.  It would be great to have many more ways as more and more people embrace the principle of a highly limited government made legitimate only to the extent that its only function is to protect our many and broad individual rights.

These Progressive Elitist "educators" clearly are trying to use a fantastic theory of racial oppression to distract the American People from the real oppression by Progressive Elitists who want ever more invasive government to micromanage our lives in accordance with their values.

Capitalism is the economic system that results from respect for individual rights and allows individuals to cooperate freely to their mutual advantage.  This in no way results in cultural co-optation as absurdly claimed by these strange people.

Clarence Thomas gathers so many of their vindictive remarks because he is the best of the Supreme Court Justices in arguing for individual rights.  There is nothing collectivists abhor more than individual rights.  They illustrated this with their wish to limit freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and their desire to be safe and secure in their persons and property.

The claim that the Tea Party is racist is absurd.  The Tea Party is principally about a desire for smaller government.  Are there a few racists who believe in smaller government?  No doubt there are.  But it would be difficult to find a greater concentration of racists than one finds among Progressive Elitists who generally think that white males are inferior and evil and who generally believe people of color are incapable of assuming personal responsibility for their own lives.  Note that the segregated sessions of this conference were justified by saying that people of color are so timid that they cannot speak their minds if a few white people are around.  How condescending is that?

Catherine Engelbrecht is an American heroine.  The fight for the equal, sovereign rights of the individual to life, liberty, property, the ownership of one's own body, mind, and labor, and for the pursuit of personal happiness is the critical issue of our time, as it always has been.  But here in the USA we are more assailed by the forces of evil collectivism and enforced altruism than we ever have been before.  George Washington was less oppressed by King George III than Catherine Engelbrecht is by the Despot Obama and his evil brain, Valerie Jarrett.  Valerie Jarrett did say that the Obama Regime would go after its enemies with a vengeance after he was re-elected.

The right to work for a living without interference is one of our most abused individual rights.  There should be an extremely good reason for claiming harm before government interferes with those willing to work for a living in our rich and diverse private sector.  The fact that some businesses fear competition is not such a reason.

So to stop this HAMAS must be crushed.  Only then will it be possible for Palestinian children and Israeli children to live in peace and freedom.

That was very incoherent.  It is not just that Garcia is wrong about much of what he said, it is not even clear what he was trying to say.  The sad quality of his arguments reflects a disorganized and irrational mind.

Story
Tagline
Materials physicist, Objectivist, Individualist, Laboratory Owner
Introduction
I enjoy rational analytical conversations, learning from thinking people, and solving problems of science and technology. My perspective is that of an Objectivist with a joyous sense of life, a great appreciation for human complexity and achievement, a benevolent regard for others, and a strong interest in ideas. A recurring theme is the importance of individuality and the fight for individual rights against the onslaught of the Nanny State and socialism. I wish to live the life of a rational self-managing adult and am amazed that so many others wish to be perpetual children. The fear, envy, and guilt that cause many to yield their individual rights to collectivism are ugly, anti-life emotions. I consistently believe in both the personal and the economic rights of the sovereign individual. As the United States Declaration of Independence says, each of us has the sovereign right to our life, our liberty, and our pursuit of happiness. Our mostly ignored Constitution attempts to severely limit the powers of the federal government, so that we may develop and exercise of our individual minds, including the choice of our own values, and have the freedom to manage and live our own lives.
