This intersection in the City of Hamilton was poured using concrete a number of years ago. Hard-Cem was added to the concrete due to the aggressive environment the surface is exposed to. This surface is still in good condition many years later even with very heavy vehicle traffic passing over the surface daily. Who wouldn't want these results!

We love working on unique projects. This lion safari in Ontario used Hard-Cem in a number of the animals enclosures. One specific enclosure was for the elephants. The elephants have large logs in their enclosure that they drag around for fun and this is very aggressive on the concrete surface. If you have elephants or maybe large machinery wearing your concrete, Hard-Cem can greatly improve its lifespan!

The new 475,000 sq. ft AGLC distribution warehouse in St. Albert, AB will serve as the province's main distribution centre for spirits, wine, and imported beer. 6,000 m3 of Hard-Cem will keep the concrete floor resistant to all of the abrasion thrown at it from trucks, forklifts and pallet jacks!

After only 4-5 years of wear, this polished/densified floor of a local building has experienced heavy #wear with only foot and shopping cart traffic. Any floor with exposure to shopping carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. experience more wear than you would expect. This surface will deteriorate faster and has a greater risk of chemical attack from deicers during the winter. Hard-Cem is specifically engineered to resist #abrasion and# erosion having your #concrete last up to 6 times longer while also reducing repair and maintenance cost! Hard-Cem was used for a section of slab repair at the Earl Turcott Transfer facility in Markham, Ontario to provide superior abrasion resistance for the concrete that is continuously exposed to garbage and front loader traffic. Plans for repairs to another section of slab at the facility this fall using Hard-Cem in the concrete are in place. An enjoyable Hard-Cem lunch and learn performed for The Miller Group Waste Management Engineers and Ready Mix team. Contact us for your free Hard-Cem lunch and learn today to learn more about Hard-Cem's advantages over traditional hardening techniques.
