It's a Do-It-Yourself with Young Living Essential Oils Meeting Tonight!

It's no joke...there is mounting evidence that Fido-ettes can benefit from the influence of the hormones produced by the ovaries. Ongoing research is showing that it can decrease the incidence of developmental orthopedic disease (hip and elbow dysplasia), increase resistance to certain types of cancers, and perhaps overall increase longevity.
Certainly more data is needed, but in order to both offer the option of keeping the ovaries AND address the desires of pet owners to not experience unwanted pregnancies and uterine diseases such as pyometra, we are yet again on the forefront here in the Des Moines area. We are offering ovary-sparing spays for our canine patients.
If you are interested in learning more, please call our office and set up an appointment with Dr. Wilke to discuss the pros and cons of spaying as well as the additional alternative of an ovary-sparing spay.
We don't believe in cookie cutter medicine...we believe our clients, and our patients, deserve better than that.
Oh...and the ovary-sparing spays are no more expensive than "regular" spays. No extra charge for awesomeness. #Justsayin

January 2015 special:
Got Dog Breath? Not sure?

*February is National Pet Dental Health Month.*
To help kick start what is always a busy time for our practice, we will be offering FREE pet oral health examinations during the month of January.

What, you say? Well, one of our experienced veterinary technicians will perform a complete dental health examination (by appointment, please). Duri...ng that examination, an oral health assessment will be performed. If our technician(s) feel that a comprehensive dental cleaning is necessary, we will provide a treatment plan detailing the expected procedures and related expenses.

We are offering this FREE examination during the entire month of January. Give us a call to find out if YOUR pet has doggie breath! Oh, and did we mention that during the month of February we will be providing a discount on dental cleanings? Yeah, we thought you'd like that, too!
Call our office at 515-274-3811 to learn more, or to schedule your FREE oral health examination today!
