Wow - not sure how I missed this rant. I was lucky enough to see over 225 shows, but that was just because I was alive when this whole thing began. Most folks have no idea that only part of the show was the band; the family was the rest. I always knew when the Dead accidentally had a radio hit (Touch), then end was near. It's a shame but Jerry also got lost. Some of it was just too overwhelming for him, he had so much pressure and a slew of lost souls made him into a deity. As I listen to this (and thanks CHANCHOFACE), I have a huge smile across my face. This brings back incredible spiritual happiness at a time when we all danced, and lost our ego. It's hard to really get it, unless you traveled with the circus. Again, timing is everything, and some of us were lucky enough to be here on time.
BTW: If you are into Bluegrass, check this band. Very Dead-lyhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSe14W27IP8
