Aaron Cleary: Why Leftists Don't Start Businesses
Cleary responds to a request from his Asshole Consulting to do a video on why leftists don't start businesses. The question is one I probably asked many years ago. My paraphrase: "If leftists don't like 'Big Oil' and complain about the profits, why don't th...

I've never been a fan of Internet Exploder. I see it more as a tool for people who are not technically inclined. I have to use it at work since our image is locked down hard. The only time I ever use it on my personal time is for those rare times when I have to check work email through Outlook Web Access.

I've always thought the biggest problem with IE is the slow development cycle. Microsoft usually releases a new version of IE every couple or years, or with a new version of Windows. Firefox and Chrome meanwhile get constant, incremental updates.

I suppose an incremental update wouldn't work for Microsoft's model, since they push updates out through Windows Update. Their update scheme also sucks. Every buy a new Windows laptop and have to spend the next 3 days running Windows Update to get your patches current?

Internet Explorer Was Never Really A Cool Brand, Analyst - Often described as the best browser to download a new browser, Internet Explorer sure has seen better days. Sure, Microsoft did bundle in several new features in newer versions. But the last few iterations of IE barely improved the usage experience — at least not as much as the options, features and technologies that rivals Google and Mozilla included in Chrome and Firefox, respectively. A case of too little, to... http://ow.ly/2Wf5JA

Terminal Lance: The Issued Wife
Max nails it. I heard that all the time in the Navy. "If the Navy wanted you to have a wife, they'd have issued you one." Of course, there were also the guys who treated their families as if they came with the seabag. One time, my ship pulled into port a ni...

I've seen some of those tiny houses that are getting popular. They're very innovative. Not sure I could work with one, although a grain silo could give you the ability to use levels.

I saw a converted ICBM silo on one of those shows. That would be cool, but probably costs several million.

RIP, Spock
I normally pay little attention to celebrities. There are a few who produce work I like. Leonard Nimoy was one of them. I practically grew up on Star Trek. Sooner or later, death comes for all of us. I figure at 83, Leonard Nimoy earned it. He will be misse...

The Benefits of Freedom
Aaron Cleary celebrated his 40th birthday with a two week motorcycle trip . Aaron is debt free and job free. He makes enough money from his Internet businesses and books to do what he wants. Younger men, do not let yourselves become slaves to debt and circu...

Bill Burr Takes on Steve Jobs
Bill does raise a good point. Steve Jobs didn't really "invent" anything. He led, inspired, and whipped a team of people into producing them. Bill complains that he showed up at "nerd fests" without the team of scientists and engineers who did the actual wo...

Student Loans Are the New STDs
I've contracted this too. There truly is no cure and no hope, especially since our ever-loving government exempted them from bankruptcy. Repeat after me: our government loves us and wants us to be happy. Everything it does is for our own good, not for the g...

The Entry Level Home May Be A Thing of the Past
As I slowly start and stop in traffic through northern Virginia, I often wonder if the economy's biggest problem is a lack of McMansions. Everywhere I turn, I see "New Luxury Homes- from the $450's". I've wondered why we don't see smaller, less expensive ho...

If stormtroopers have the same aim at the urinal as they do with their rifles. I would NOT want to be a janitor at the Death Star.

I Was Happy To Hear The Oscars Have Declining Viewership
I never pay attention to these award shows . I can barely tell them apart. Oscars, Tonys, Academy, etc. Makes no difference to me. I'm glad the rest of America is finally catching on.
