Yesterday's warm weather has created some deep ruts and ice and water buildup in the gravel lots. Those lots will be closed through today, but vehicles parked in the lots will be able to exit. For a map of the affected lots, see those marked "temporary lots" on this map: http://goo.gl/JDCCRs

It looks like things could get a little icy tonight.  Please be safe if you must venture out tonight.  Also, be sure to charge your cell phone as ice storms sometimes cause power outages.

Primary parking for Saturday's commencement exercises will be in the P-29, P-26, and portions of the P-16 lot.  Handicap parking will be in the P-18 and P-16 lots.  Vehicles will be allowed to drop off handicap individuals in the circle drive in front of the O'Rena prior to parking.

Volunteers and OUPD officers can assist if you have questions about parking.

All Members of the Campus Community:

This past Monday, the Oakland University Police Department (OUPD) posted flyers in various areas of the campus identifying a "person of interest" in an active investigation.  Subsequently, the investigation resulted in another subject being identified as the actual suspect in an assault which took place on January 11, 2014. The OUPD will continue its investigation and we anticipate submitting a request for formal charges to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office early next week.

The subject has been interviewed by officers and informed that he is barred from coming onto campus until further notice.
