Shine On...
Here's an incredible tree we hung around for an hour or so, never really straying that far from it. Every time the light would change or the fog would move and the tree would become more isolated by the light, we run back and start shooting it again. Awesome to find sweet little gems like this in the forest. I'm trying to get through my files a bit faster than I usually do so I'm not backlogged forever like I usually am, so you'll be seeing quite a few forest and coast shot in the next days and weeks. Thanks for looking and sharing.

The Way Out...

So here's a cool shot from my trip to the redwoods. These woods are kinda spooky when you are the only one around and the fog is thick. It creates a really dark atmosphere in there, but when the fog starts to burn off or move it really becomes magical. I can't believe I actually took the time to shoot a selfie. Normally, I am all business when the lights shows start to happen, but I have recently been making a conscience effort to have more fun and do some different stuff like this during the show. Thanks for looking and sharing!

Golden Fall...

Here's a kinda abstracty side of Proxy falls I hit a couple of years ago with +Scott Miller. It sat in the archives for a while, almost forgot I had it. I remember the water being so big and the mist just impossible to shoot in that thinking outside the box to stay productive was really our only option. We ended up staying up on the side of the falls a lot longer than if we were shooting the falls from the low vantage. The cool thing about staying at a spot for a while, even hours, is that you can see the light change and develop. Thanks for looking and sharing!

The Grove...

A few weeks ago while scouting for flowers I saw this oak grove that I've walked passed a thousand times, but this time the long shadows caught my eye. Sun stars are always a plus! Thanks for looking and sharing!
