It can be very useful for readers to know how much time they can expect to spend on an article before they engage. That's why I decided to add an estimated reading time to my blog.

It will take approximately 3 minutes to read my latest article and find out how I implemented that.

One aspect of Computer Science every developer should understand is the Big-O notation. This notation is used to describe the complexity of an algorithm relative to the size of its input. Very useful when designing software or analyzing performance bottlenecks in your code!

My latest article helps to understand the Big-O notation by exploring the most common orders of magnitude and their algorithms.

In my previous article I wrote about how a vulnerable Windows machine can be hacked. So what possibilities do hackers have when they have breached your system? Steal your username/password, key logging, taking screenshots, creating new user accounts, running a remote desktop session and much more.

In my latest article I show how this is done by diving deeper into the post-exploitation world of Metasploit and the Meterpreter tool.

In my latest article I describe how to use Metasploit to execute the Eternalblue exploit. This is the exploit used by WannaCry and Petya ransomware.

Did you always ignore the Windows update notification, annoyed by this intrusive message? This blog post is an argument to enable automatic updates or press 'apply' in the notification and get yourself a coffee next time. #CyberSecurity #Hacking

In my latest blog post, I cover the 5 phases of a typical hacking scenario.

An ethical hacker follows a similar process to that of a malicious hacker to gain and maintain access to a computer system. The process of a typical attack scenario can be broken down into five distinct phases, which are described in this article.

I just published a new article: An introduction to Software Design Patterns. Understanding design patterns and knowing when and how to use them is considered an important skill for software engineers and architects alike.

This article introduces and briefly describes all 23 Gang Of Four design patterns to set the basis for this skill.

Since I started blogging on the Ghost blogging platform, I had to make some tweaks to a default theme so it would fit my needs. One of these tweaks is to enable pinning an article to the homepage of my website. I describe how this is done in my latest article. https://www.coengoedegebure.com/sticky-articles-in-ghost/
