I think of Meadhall as the Sunset for grownups. They have over 100 beers on tap, and a much better atmosphere for getting drinks when you are in the Kendall Square area. I haven't tried the food here before, but the drinks are reasonably priced and I always like trying something different when I come. You will most likely need to stand around the large center bar, as it seems to get pretty busy here.

This place has so many beers on tap! The bar itself is a great sight - during post-work hours on weekdays, this place gets crazy busy. It's probably best to grab a seat with a group for beers/apps, because it is almost impossible to grab a seat or standing spot by the bar. Their food is a traditional bar menu but includes pierogies, latkes, and poutine, which mixes it up a little bit. Their flatbread pizza special with goat cheese, heirloom tomatoes, and arugula were the group's favorite!

I had written off Meadhall after many inconsistent visits: food quality and service varied widely, and the 100 taps of beer many times seemed unmanageable for both staff and patrons. But a recent visit was really nice: a lot of rare, delicious beer was on draught from Maine's Allagash Brewing Co. and California's Firestone Walker Brewing Co., and the server was courteous and prompt. The food was also good, though I have my suspicions that the Buffalo Fried Shrimp were "bought-in". Nonetheless, this last visit makes me want to come back again, and I look forward to seeing if they can execute at a consistently high level at both busy and slow times.

Beer beer beer! Do I even need to say anything else? This is a beer lovers dream come true, and although I'm not a beer lover, all my friends are and love the changing variety of a million beers on tap. The food is pretty good too, I like to get the burger with an egg on top at lunch, although the service can be spotty during lunch time. The other awesome thing about this place is the bar--it's large! Which almost always guaranteed you the perfect seat.

What a disappointment. We always end up coming here (it's so convenient! it's always open!) but the food is no good and the service isn't great. But they do have 100 beers on tap (even if they won't let you order a flight).

Beer is great, 100+ to choose from. The only two things I order on the menu are either the burger or the veggie burger - both are amazing. Probably the best veggie burger ever, comes with an olive and some sort of Greek yogurt spread on top. Delicious with beer. The fries are good too. Difficult for large groups since out gets quite busy but 4 or less people is usually fine.

Excellent selection of beers, and amazing atmosphere. Most times, it's a bit hard to find a table, and the food is good but nothing special (I would say relatively typical bar food for the most part).

Dined here for lunch and while service was initially attentive, it definitely disappeared towards the end of my hour-long meal. The wings were the standout during our meal; deliciously charred and seasoned with buffalo sauce, I couldn't get enough of them and wish it were my entree. The buttermilk ranch and chili sauce are excellent for dipping. For lunch, we split a pulled pork sandwich that was somehow dry but oversauced at the same time, along with a very bland meatloaf sandwich that was anything but comfort food. The fries served with the sandwiches (ask for it or you'll get chips) were beyond delicious. Bottom line? Good for wings, fries and drinks (extensive beer and mead list) but skip the lunch sandwiches. Awesome decor, though!
