A Plethora of Bridges

I'm not sure how many is in a plethora, but from here you can see Millennium Bridge (with people on it), Southwark Bridge (cyan in colour), London Bridge (the white bit at bottom-right), and Tower Bridge (at the back).

Shard and Millennium Bridge

The Shard is a pretty impressive piece of architecture. The Millennium Bridge makes a good vantage point for viewing it. But I got a better view from where I was on the north bank of the Thames.

The Pub Across the River

If I'm in this area, I'm usually outside The Anchor pub, though I have been in there for a very nice meal once. So it made a change to shoot it from the north side of the Thames. My superzoom lens makes it look as if it's only yards away, but the river is pretty wide at this point.

Under London Bridge

Photos taken under river bridges seem to fascinate us photographers. I never see anyone taking photos pointing their cameras up at road bridges, only river bridges. There are plenty of bridges along the River Thames to keep any photographer happy. At this point, there are several in a row.
