CHEESESTEAKS ARE PRETTY GOOD, AND VERY CLOSE TO BEST AROUND, BUT THATS IT? REST OF STUFF IS MEDIOCRE. I GET IT ONCE A WHILE BUT ONLY WHEN REALLY CRAVING FOR DECENT CHEESESSTEAK, CAUSE I USUALLY BUY 2 CHEESESTEAKS(ONE FOR ME AND MOMS) AND SMALL FRIES AND ITS LIKE 20+ BUCKS? OUCH? IF GOING TO CHARGE THAT KIND OF MONEY ATLEAST MAKE THEM HARDY? THERE JUST UNDER STANDARD SIZE ...

I'm just a passerby through Philadelphia, and this place is delicious. I've been to another cheese steak restaurant here (can't remember at the moment), and this beats it easily. Edit: This is sadly my last time visiting this establishment for what could be a very long time. If you've never eaten here and tried their cheesesteaks, do yourself a favor and get your taste buds lit. #thug

The true best of Philly. Some staff members are rude and slow but the delicious steaks are worth putting up with the sometimes-poor service, which you will get at all of the top Philly steak joints. Stop complaining about the gristle because all ribeye has it. Joe's trims much of it away, but it is impossible to get rid of all of it. Joe's ribeye is the tastiest cut that you can get in a Philly cheesesteak. Unlike cheaper, inferior cuts loaded with gristle, it does not have to be cut up into thousands of pieces to make it edible. The shakes are not sweet enough for me. But some of the other menu items are awesome tasting. The best $10 you will ever spend.

If you want to enjoy the very best cheesesteaks in Philadelphia, Joe's Steaks is the only place to go. I have tasted steaks from all of the top rated shops in the region. Joe's (formerly known as Chink's) is the best. I usually get my steak with Wiz, American, Provolone, Fried Onions and Fried Mushrooms. Add a Cherry Vanilla Coke and a Milkshake.

The Philly cheese steak is 10 inches long but it feels like it has a pound of beef in it, the servings hit the spot. Great service and ambiance.

One of the best cheesesteaks and milkshakes in Philly. Be forewarned of limited, very squished seating
