Ford Discusses 2018 F-150 Diesel Pickup
On track to continue producing the number one lightweight truck on the market, Ford is set to release their 2018 F-150 diesel pickup soon. As it stands, the only direct competitor to this truck would be the 2018 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel. Ford will continue to offer all the same safety features in this truck that earned the 2018 model the highest rating of “Good” from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Ford Provides Tip to Ease Morning Defrosting
We have all been there; you walk out to your car in the morning only to find a layer of frost and ice on the window that takes time, effort and maybe even gas to clear. You could spend the time and effort to scrape the ice off by hand, or you could turn your window defrosters on and burn some gas while your windows are heated up from the inside, or you could use a third method. Ford Working Towards Safer Off-Road Experience
Anyone that has ever been off-roading knows at times a truck could lose traction and possibly slide down a hill or roll over while traversing difficult terrain or obstacles. Understanding this, Ford recently patented new autonomous technology that could make offroading safer. Using a system of sensors, the vehicle would monitor its surrounds with topographical data to determine the likelihood of an incident and if necessary “eject” the passengers while the vehicle moves forward on its own. Automotive manufacturer Ford recently unveiled the 2018 Expedition, one of their largest SUVs. The group is hoping to position the vehicle as the first and best choice for a vacation vehicle to use for road trips. Touting a best-in-class fuel economy with an EPA-estimated economy rating of 17 mpg city, 24 mpg highway and 20 mpg combined for the 4×2 version, the vehicle can drive up to 538 miles per tank.
