Many campers wait until Memorial Day Weekend to unleash their inner camper but we have it on good authority that the veterans plan their getaways a few weeks earlier. Why? Because we're offering a FREE night to anyone who wants to Come Camp & Care with us on May 9th & 10th!

A big thanks to all who participated in our 2014 Volunteer Workday. After all of the raking, planting and fixing up our campground looks wonderful. To top of the day we had a potluck dinner for all to enjoy.

How do you like your marshmallows? Warmed up a little, with a nice golden brown coating or fried to a crisp?

You have to work and you have to camp. The two universal truths. Why not do both together?

Seasonal campers, overnight guests and those who fall somewhere in between. How long does your usual camping trip last?

Graham H. left us a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 review on Facebook last fall: "These folks do an outstanding job for their campers. We will definitely be going back."

A great campground is like a four leaf clover, hard to find & lucky to have. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

Don't forget to move your clocks forward tonight! True or False: Daylight Savings Time was specifically created to allow your children one extra hour to play on our playground.

My mother and I spent five days here at the end of March. The camping site was so clean and nice and the staff was extremely friendly (the manager gave us suggestions of some top notch trails to explore and the scenery lived up to our expectations). We spent a few days tent camping and, when it got too cold, we moved into one of the cabins for a few more days. The cabins were also very clean and neat and the staff gave us an extra heater so we could stay toasty warm. I was most impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms. WOW.

We just made an emergency trip to Mount Vernon, Kentucky. We were staying for a week, and since we were traveling with a toddler who loves being outside, we opted for this KOA. Only 11 days before our arrival, the new owners and managers had arrived. We would never have known. The service was excellent, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and the entire camp was clean. (We marveled at how clean the restrooms were day and night.) Our stay at the campground was the perfect decision for us. There was plenty to do, the campgrounds were lovely, and the air-conditioned cabins were great. The outdoor kitchen and the charcoal grills worked well for our meals. (There is an IGA, Save-A-Lot and Dollar General nearby.) We were able to relax on the porch swings...around the campfire... and take home wonderful memories.

Lotta things for my girls to do including swimming pool. Campsite was pretty clean. They have little store u can find ur camping needs etc.. I d love to go out there again when i get a chance.
