Darren Zieger: Thanks for the invite. Not sure what to make of G+ yet. Dragging people into your various circles is fun in a tactile way...The question for me is, while it clearly can serve up the content from your facebook account, does it work in the other direction? Can you set it so that your Google+ posts also show up on your facebook account, so the people following you there but not on G+ can see them? Or will I lose touch with a large swath of my facebook friends if I switch to G+. I'll look into this rather than doing something actually productive...
mairtin o'riain: heh heh...Thanks Achim, I'll see who I can tempt over ...facebook seems to be going the way of myspace at the moment - its becoming slower and harder to access every time I'm on it ( It hasn't been secretely bought out by newscorp has it ? heh heh) I'm just exploring the experimental bits right now...certainly seems alot more interesting than facebook! Just don't sell it to Newscorp google!!!
Darren Zieger: Washington, DC area, here.
BTW, since you're in Denver, I'm compelled to recommend a Denver-based band that's absolutely brilliant: John Common and Blinding Flashes of Light. Just amazing material, beautifully performed. They're still obscure, but I thing John's in the running for best songwriter of his generation (and I don't say that lightly). Definitely check them out while we're waiting for Tasmin's new album.
