Beautiful country house hotel located just outside Plymouth. If you are looking for a hotel in the country with serene surroundings then you would like the Langdon Court Hotel The hotel is minutes from Wembury Beach and its renowned rock pool sea creatures. Food is a mix of French and Classic English cuisine. The hotel specialises in events and often hosts spectacular weddings and family events WI FI is in all rooms. David

Although we had to wait nearly an hour for our meals to be served, the food was excellent. We were told the wait was due to the fish pie being made up fresh? It certainly tasted excellent as were the fish and chips.

This hotel is in a tranquil location. Being quite remote I couldn't get a signal on my Virgin mobile, but for one night that didn't really matter as there was free wifi available in the hotel. The beef was superbly cooked and the restaurant and bar service were both excellent. I like the fact that this is a historic and formal venue but the staff are relaxed and friendly. The room was very spacious and very comfortable.

Brilliant, slight delay on the food - but well worth the wait! going to be coming back.
