Steady progress for this outfit: http://tinyurl.com/zzzblqr
DocuSign, a "unicorn" that helps companies achieve full digital transformation by eliminating paper from workflows, has come of age. With 100 million users now in 188 countries, a wide range of partners around the world, and continuous diligent investment, the company has made itself into the choice for ecosystems such as SAP, Microsoft, Oracle and Salesforce. Since I first started covering the company five years ago, it has grown tenfold.

Gotta keep up with the times: http://tinyurl.com/zqokfsg
IBM has reinvented itself pretty much continuously since its founding more than 100 years ago. Now, the company is moving its focus to providing infrastructure for the coming era of cognitive workloads, the complex, AI-oriented, real-time analysis of vast troves of heterogeneous data coming from systems both inside and outside enterprises.

Now anyone can program a quantum computer: http://tinyurl.com/hqosh67
Quantum computing requires a whole new type of thinking, but some of the ways IBM and others are bringing this experience to market are reminiscent of much older paradigms.

Sales engagement platforms give management the metrics to improve sales performance: http://tinyurl.com/zg4f4pp
Much of the front office has been automated, including customer relationship management and marketing. But sales itself has been adrift in business process automation. Sales engagement platforms are beginning to remedy that situation by pulling together monitoring and communication tools that reveal exactly how customers are connecting with marketing material at a granular level. This knowledge helps accelerate close rates and allows management t...

Nintex has been in the business of providing software to automate corporate workflows for years. In July, the company introduced an analytics package, called Hawkeye, that lets workflow professionals measure their effectiveness. Over time, Nintex expects to build this capability out to include a wider range of data sources and more refined views of workflow performance.

Anyone with Inky anywhere in the world can send encrypted, authenticated email to anyone else who has Inky anywhere in the world. All you need is an email address. Doesn't matter who your email provider is or what platform you use. Oh, and all you need to do to encrypt is click one button.

Once upon a time, companies ran their own email servers, which was frankly a huge pain, requiring dedicated IT staff who new the “black…

I could put something like this to good use: http://tinyurl.com/jnj4rw7
Sailing a small boat with my hands occupied convinced me that a small hands-free smart device on the wrist might not be such a bad thing. The Apple Watch currently on the market is just a placeholder for what will ultimately be the real product, the future version of the smartwatch that will be the robust tiny computer with seamless input/output (I/O) we’re all looking for.
