Alexander Renfred is a worship leader, singer-songwriter and musician.
Alexander Renfred (born August 30, 1991, age 22) is an Indonesian Pop & Rock Blues musician, singer-songwriter and recording artist with mostly Christian theme. He was born and raised in Surabaya, Indonesia, the second of three children. He is a Christian and a member of Mawar Sharon Church. Alex received Christ at the age of 17 – Aug 10, 2008 in a local church – and began to ministering as a worship leader a year later – Aug 30, 2009 – on his 18th birthday. He is now the main worship leader in a youth revival service “Army of God” (Mawar Sharon Youth) – a movement led by Ps. Philip Mantofa, Ps. Surya Onggo Sanusi and Ps. Sumiati Supit with thousands of congregation weekly. He is the founder/director/lead vocalist of “Voice of The Restless“ (VoTR) and also recognized as the former vocalist of Code-R band.
Alex has written (& co-written as well) more than 30 songs. Most of them are Christian Contemporary. Some of his songs are:

His biggest musical influences are Sidney Mohede & John Mayer – with some other singers & musicians like Coldplay, Jason Mraz, Hillsong United, Avril Lavigne, Adam Levine, Katy Perry, Jessie J, Israel Houghton, Glenn Fredly & Brooke Fraser. However, the first musician who inspired him to sing & play music since on Junior High was Ariel (Noah, ex-Peterpan).
His favorite album is John Mayer’s “Continuum” with “The Heart of Life” as favorite song.
