A hidden secret in Brixton area where you could find variety of dishes around the world. Most of the best food outlet started in Brixton the likes of Cafe Manca, Honest Burgers and many more so it's worth going there. But my personal favorite is Coffee Federation.

Themed in Brixton to keep you on you toes In 2011 a specific part of the Brixton Market, aka Station Road, has been given a makeover. Thanks to the local council handing the majority of the reins over to a team of enthusiastic individuals this single street in the heart of Brixton is getting livelier by the day. To revamp the once bare and baron road the great idea of themed markets has been put into practice. While the fresh food market takes place every Friday it’s the Saturdays that keeps TSL and its readers on their toes. Depending on the week visitors will be presented with a retro, makers or flee market, each with their own ‘je ne sais quoi’ and all well worth a visit. Read more about our experience at Brixton Village and discover plenty of other unique independent businesses at the Twenty Something London website!

I'm a little reluctant of telling everyone how amazing Brixton Village is, as I would possibly prefer to keep it my own little secret! It has some of the best food in London and at affordable prices. The atmosphere is unlike any other market or village in London with a half outdoor half indoor feeling - an old covered market converted into a quirky, artsy, and delicious collection of cafes, pop-up restaurants, crafts, and vintage clothing. The veggie stalls (not so traditional as they sell breadfruit, plantains, and an assortment of items I've never seen before!) and fish stalls interspersed keep the feeling local. You can also pretty much find anything your taste buds desire that day, from Mexican to Columbian, Thai, Japanese, Burgers, BBQ pulled pork, Spanish, and the best pizza in London. Cues build up on the weekends so arrive early enough and have a drink while you wait.

This has got to be my most favourite food spot in London! Simple food from all over the world. Gained so many calories in one trip as everything smells and tastes sooooo amazing. How much cash do you need to bring? Well you can just pop in with light change! Such good value for money, and of course if you really feel like supporting the local trade you can always pay in Brixton pounds! :) No matter how long the journey, Brixton Village is always the destination! xx

Love this place! I recently stumbled upon this market on a sunday afternoon, and was amazing that I hadn't heard of it before. It is an old covered market selling a variety of quirky and vintage clothing along side a collection of pop-up cafes and restaurants. As it's open on a sunday, you can also pop by for your groceries when Brixton market is closed. You'll find a mix of traditional and exotic produce. Best to come early (before 12) or after 2pm to avoid the queues!

This is a hidden gem for tourists, but not for locals. On a weekend this place has a great vibe. Food is also affordable. You will find a wide variety of food, with influences from all over the world.
