Cozy Mediterranean restaurant with some fresh takes on classics. Gorgeous fish and lamb dishes. Loved the crispy cauliflower. Pretty and romantic little place for a date.

Usually don't like italian, but this place is great. The fish was incredible, well cooked, perfectly seasoned.

Such an explosion of flavors to be found here! The shakshouka had great heat to it; it was Moroccan Baked Eggs in Spicy Tomato Cazuela, Spinach, Grilled Country Bread with lamb meat. I wish I had more bread for dipping in the sauce. The mimosa price was mislabeled on one of the menus, and they were able to adjust it for us. Good service and great gem of a place for brunch!

Great service but the food is just not right. Middle east taste but with limited invention. Be careful on the wine, you could pick bad ones

The food tastes decent, but, the portions are so so embarrassingly small, and I'm a New Yorker and totally get the margin play at these trendy spots.. They charged $14 for three slices of zucchini that were just okay, and the lamb chops at upwards of $30 were fatty and a shoulder cut (cheaper), which isn't actually a what one considers a lamb chop and shouldn't be described as such. Also while the staff is attentive, they took several plates before we were finished eating. Also the coffee tasted like instant coffee. 😔

Intimate warm place to take friends or out of town guests. Interesting Israeli inspired starts and mains. Often we get several apps and no main so we can save room for dessert. Like most NY restaurants, seating is tight & you will hear your neighbors dinner conversations. The cauliflower appetizer is a favorite and I've honestly never had a bad meal here. Never tried brunch so I can't comment on that. Note not a place for long conversation after dessert though...they get very busy and will tell you they have people waiting for the table. That's typical of many popular places, so we weren't offended. However I think it is worth mentioning if you are entertaining business clients who may want to linger. I am guessing if you kept the alcohol and dessert flowing, they would be less inclined to nudge you out:)

I went here for a late brunch with my mom and boyfriend. We sat at a long communal table but there are smaller and more private tables here. It's relatively small as far as brunch goes and we made a reservation in advance. The hummus platter was amazing but I would have liked more pita bread because we had to order extra in order to finish the three items that came with it (hummus, olives, and a tomato based dip). I had the french toast which came with cream cheese spread and tucked on the inside. It was quite good and filling. The syrup and fruit were a nice contrast to the tangy cream cheese filling. I had a bloody mary but it's far from my favorite remix of this beverage. Definitely a place to come back to.
