I have been living with a cracked screen on my HTC 1S for a couple weeks now.  This phone looks fantastic - hoping for an invite to purchase.
Bored by #OnePlus #InsanityWeek ? Six phones in three days is a bit of a snoozefest. Now that it’s Day 4 let’s double that and give away 12 phones in 24 hours.

1. Share this post to public and tag at least 2 friends in your own post.
2. Fill out the following form: http://bit.ly/OPInsanityWkD4 (it only takes 1 minute!).
3. Go insane!

Interested in the 2014 flagship killer? A new winner will be chosen and announced every two hours so the sooner you enter, the better your chances are. Things are going to get crazy up in here. The contest for Day 4 starts today at 1.00 pm GMT (7.00 am CST) and will close on Friday, October 17 at 1.00 pm (7.00 am CST).

Today's board, considering how to feature Insight-based screen for or about students.  A departure from the existing Data-based display screen for students.

Ideally, I think it might be divided into "going on now", "upcoming considerations" type areas to help.   Maybe something about following a trail and these are the signposts to help stay on track.

CSU will likely need to build a local version, but we would love a product from a startup or other company that had a solution we would host on campus to collect the insights and then distribute them as email, text, or app notification based on user preference and relation to the student.

We just had a 1.5 day session with Campus Labs discussing how we are using their Beacon product, which offers a subset of this functionality, but does not have an API to allow posting or retrieval of the Insights from outside products, which is critical for functionality.  It does have some ways we could do it, entirely within Beacon, if we wanted to give up on Notifications on a Mobile app in the short term.  But, I am of the opinion that for students to want to use this, it needs to be on the mobile platform primarily, with equal functionality elsewhere.

So, app developers - who wants to build this and sell it to a bunch of schools?  Are there any companies doing this?  +Jason Calacanis often says that education is the largest growth opportunity area for Silicon Valley to embrace.

I'm proud to share that Matt Creighton's game Mutu is now on the apple store.  And Android.  And available for windows!  And you can play it online for free (but that's not nearly as good as the tablet versions)

It's really pretty darn good, and looks to get better.  He graduates in December too.
