This place is suppose to be known as The Best Fish Tacos in Ensenada but I think it their fish tacos is OK, the shrimp tacos taste alot better. I ordered one of each taco they sell, fish, shrimp, and potato. Of the three the shrimp taco was the standout. That shrimp taco was the best that I have in a while. The shrimp aren't small either. For $2.25 a taco, is pretty good. Overall the menu was cheap. $1.75 for fish and 1.59 for potato, drinks only a dollar. I found it different that they just cook they only add the fish or the shrimp or the potato and you add the toppings but it didn't take away from my experience. If I return one day soon I will make sure to order the shrimp tacos only. No frills here but decent for a stop in.

Came here as a celebration of reaching Yelp Elitehood. Such a freaking happy moment, and to add to that, I just finished a 5 mile run. What better way to piss that all away than fish tacos! There's something special about this place. There's a history too about the owner visiting Mexico one day and getting inspired about the fish tacos there. So inspired that he hired all the same exact people to serve it here. It really paid off, since you'll be getting some of the tastiest ensenada fish tacos here. There's a cool patio outside where most of the seating is located. There's also a seating area indoors but it's just not the same vibe as chowing down in the patio. Pull up a stool and eat outside in the California sun. -=-2 fish, 2 shrimp tacos-=- These are good. They are better than Rubios, so don't go there son. There might not be a Tuesday taco special, but this unique place doesn't need it. There's an option for fried or grilled fish, but if you are gonna go all the way, get the fried. It's the Ensenada way. The shrimp were good too, and are probably of the same calibre as the fish tacos. The sauce isn't too overbearing, but you can always help yourself to the sauce bar. It wasn't epic, but pretty damn good. Get it sometime

This is definitely NOT the best fish and shrimp tacos in town! First of all you have to eat them fast before the tortilla gets hard. Second the fish and shrimp were bland, no wonder they have a salsa bar to make up for it's taste. Third their natural water drinks were warm and it seem like they have been there for days and are watered down. Fourth NO Parking what so ever. Wil not be going back ever! Head on to Highland Park instead to Via Mar. Way better tacos and worth the drive!

Great fish tacos for the price and you cannot beat how fresh they are. The fish is made right in front of you, straight from the batter and into the fryer when you order. Nor is the fish overcooked, it's perfectly moist. However, I can't say these were the best fish tacos I've ever had. The fried fish was just a little too doughy and bready. It wasn't crisp, which is the hallmark of good fried fish. I probably won't make the journey back here, but if you like fish tacos you should definitely give this place a try at least once.

Simple menu -- fried fish or shrimp tacos -- and it's all pretty cheap. The food is fairly good and there's a salsa bar with about 6 different salsas to make your tacos a bit more interesting. The inside eating area is kind of dingy and unenjoyable and the owner can be chatty. He's friendly but can get obnoxious and he gets orders wrong all the time, which turns a simple dinning experience into a drawn out stressful event. The outdoor area is nice and there is live music on Tuesday nights.

Tried everything, the tacos are excellent. The taquitos are excellent. Love the unique salsas. Worth the trip and the staff is super friendly. Best fish taco experience ever.

If you like beer, check out Cap n' Cork next door. Grab a fancy craft brew and then head over. The tacos are $1.50 each and three will leave you stuffed. Try as many of the salsas as you can. The mango salsa and the sweet radish salsa are my favorite. The only downside is the restroom isn't great. If you're a guy, it's fine, but I wouldn't want to have to sit down.
