We got the Inverter off the ground finally this weekend. While things could have gone better, we were still happy with the flight as there were a lot of firsts for us on this rocket.

We also flew the Shadow II rocket on the day and despite a couple of issues as well, it went up to 1248 feet which was our new altitude PB.

We are currently repairing the Inverter so it can fly again in a couple of weeks time, and we'll also have a go at launching the Shadow II again. Hopefully we'll get some blue skies next time.

Wow, a year since we last posted to G+ :)... This weekend we continued to do more work on the Inverter rocket. http://www.aircommandrockets.com/inverter.htm#_2013_01_15

We would like to get this rocket finished by this weekend so it's ready for the next NSWRA launch at Doonside.

With Christmas celebrations mostly over, dad and I put together a short video today that describes how the Shadow's launcher works and how the rocket is loaded onto the launcher. I've added the video to the latest Shadow update here:
