Sorry, Megan; I didn't see your question until today, for some reason. Milo weighs 11 pounds.

This is a beautiful, though obviously sad, post. Thank you for sharing a piece of your heart.

P.S. Should I know who Rhonda Lang is??

Thank you. I'm glad to share of piece of myself. I love doing so. Rhonda is phenomenal! You would love her too. I'm trying to get her to do an interview for what I'm going to call "Motivated Mondays". Be on the look out. <3

Great post related to #griefandloss .
You must forgive me for not writing more, but I have been mourning the loss of someone who was dear to me.  So close were we that once, when asked about the relationship between us, I flippantly said we were Siamese twins, se...

If you gave me a 20-minute break at work but told me I had to spend it outside, every day, standing around or running around (with people I may or may not like or who don't like me), I would personally rather keep working.  Some #teacher colleagues and I are eager to think outside-the-box on how we do #recess at our #middleschool .  Even before this dreadfully-long winter, I've wished that our recess would better meet the needs of all students, not just the popular ones or the ones who love running around outside. We have a committee meeting on Wednesday; if you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them!

I used to love spending time in the library when I was a child, but some kids like to help prep things for teachers or perhaps practice art or music indoors.  I used to volunteer at an elementary school that would allow kids to help the really cool art teacher prep material when the kids were celebrating a holiday in which they were fasting (this made them stand out less to their peers).  If movement and exercise are important, what about a lifelong sport opportunity (juggling props, treadmill, yoga DVD, etc)?

Just so you're aware, I got tired of watching the introductory silliness and decided to look for other videos that get to the point more quickly. Since there are so many other videos out there to choose from, most viewers won't take the time to watch this video if it doesn't get to the point. You may have a great how-to video, but you need to remember to consider your audience. Best of luck to you with those dreaded generic rectangles!

How about printing? Has that been improved? If not, I'm still stuck; I need to be able to print spreadsheets and not need a magnifying glass to read them :)

We ate at Angelina's on Friday night. Our waitress, Allie (sp?) was terrific. We were seated at a table downstairs, near the bar; I went upstairs to find a beautiful, warmly decorated dining room at which I would have preferred to sit, though we hadn't been asked. We ordered the calamari appetizer (It was okay; a little rubbery, but tasty), two raviolis (very good, but the Butternut Squash at Chives beats this one, hands-down), pesto pasta (not as good as my homemade, insists my husband, though the pasta itself was cooked perfectly) salmon (cooked more than we cook ours at home, but tasty), and tilapia (tasty but not very eye-appealing in presentation). The vegetable sides were gorgeous and delicious! My husband had three cocktails. Our bill came to $100 (before the tip) for the three of us. When spending that kind of money for dinner, I would expect something special, and while we had a decent experience here, we are unlikely to return; it just wasn't anything to write home about, in our opinions.

My friend and I went to a birthday party at the Parkway Chateau. While the facility isn't the newest place in the world (and the bathroom was about 80 degrees), the food at the party was the absolute best I've ever had at such an event. The prime rib--amazing. Chicken wings--fantastic. Even the veggies and dip were fresh and delicious. The bartenders at the party were efficient and professional. Overall, the Parkway Chateau is a diamond in the rough, and I hope I'm in town to enjoy it again one day.

My husband and I met another couple for dinner at SALT. We thought everything was delicious. My husband, who is a world traveler who eats out a lot said that the oysters were some of the best he's ever had. The presentation was great, and we also loved the classy-yet-comfortable atmosphere. My best advice is to check out the menu on-line ahead of time--It's very eclectic and unusual. You'll also want to choose your entree carefully; you may not feel like you've had enough to eat with some of the entrees. (Even with an appetizer and dessert, my quail just wasn't enough.) The service, I'm happy to report, was excellent.

I came in without an appointment this week and experienced great customer service. Annette, the designer who helped me choose a carpet (as well as paint colors), was wonderful to work with. I haven't made my decision yet, but this early process was pain-free and very reassuring. I look forward to receiving our bid.

Our golden retriever loved going to the Animal Clinic of Suamico and received excellent care there for his entire life. Putting him down was tough. Dr. Spires made the experience quick and pain-free for Cooper, and we appreciated his follow-up condolence card. We have a new puppy now, and we have our first appointment for him next week. Rates are very reasonable, and the staff I've dealt with have been professional. My only "complaint" would be that the hours are somewhat limited (7-5 weekdays and 8-noon on Saturday), but I don't expect Dr. Spires to work 24 hours a day. (Emergency appointments are referred to Green Bay Animal Emergency Center.) I would definitely recommend this clinic. p.s. In reference to a previous review, "Angel" doesn't work there anymore.
