+Patricia Dever Try this app (See 3rd video from top: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChwnq2jJwcCz0Xfue5c-ATg) Basically you use your iPhone to scan, and the app crops & saves the photos automatically.

Did you hear the news? SPRA is the recipient of a $13,000 research grant from the Alberta Historical Resources Foundation for the Peace Country Land Settlement Database, 1915-1930!  The project will be supervised by Dr. David Leonard; and researcher Adele Goa will extract information from the Alberta land files for settlers on the Alberta side of the Peace River Country during that time period. This will build on an earlier database, created by Grande Prairie Regional College for the period up to 1915, which is heavily used by historians, genealogists and general researchers. This grant was made possible by the Alberta Lottery Fund which provides an annual allocation to the Alberta Historical Resources Foundation. #gpab. #peacecountry   #genealogy   #alberta  #history #homestead

My first session at the Ontario Genealogy Conference 2014 #ogscon2014 was with speaker Glenn Wright. I learned that I have just touched the surface on gathering information on my ancestors In the Canadian WWI service files! http://cpgreber.wordpress.com/2014/05/03/ogs-genealogy-without-borders/

Grande Prairie court records are available at the Provincial Archives. Here is the link to what you can find for this area. You can also get in touch with them and ask them any questions you may have! #gpab

Do you know anyone on this photo? #gpab

*Calling on Grande Prairie- we need your help identifying the children in this photo!! The picture was taken at the back of Montrose School, and we think it dates from the 1940's.
We would like you to share this photo with everyone! Hopefully we can get everyone identified! #gpab #grandeprairie
