Happy Easter to you too! Easter is a much more significant resurrection and this one has been un-celebrated appropriately so equally good to hear from you. I know the demands of the OM, and perhaps one day...?  In a way I knew it was a dip in book, but I try to persuade some to take it at a gallop because it 'looks' demanding and really is much easier than that! But since you already know all that it purports, I feel flattered that you sip discerningly!

FIVE more STARS for Gift of Gamman!
Another awesome read by Stan I.S. Law

Bring on the array of depth, wonder, suspense and so much more that this science fiction novel has to offer! I am a big fan of books by Stan I.S. Law and Gift of Gamman has been no different, in fact, I think it might be my favorite so far. It’s mind bending, provokes deep thought, really engages your brain and draws you in like you won’t believe. The vivid descriptiveness of the characters breathes life into each one giving you an emotional connection with them; being able to bond with the characters is important to me and this book gives me that and more! I love the bit of spirituality thrown into this wonderful, well written sci-fi! I highly recommend Gift of Gamman by Stan I.S. Law and look forward to reading more of his work!

Once more, I thank you for expressing interest in my blog. Tomorrow we shall discuss the consequences of Hammurabi’s Code. They are stranger than most of us imagine.

Animal Kingdom
How we differ from other Animals
Various religious authorities tell us that we, humans, contrary to other members of the animal kingdom, have soul. A convenient subterfuge. In the Bible, the Hebrew word ‘nephesh’, that means “animal soul”, or the subconsciou...

More 5.0 out of 5 stars for ONE JUST MAN
Very Inspiring
When the first chapter of a book makes me hate the main character, it has to be really well-written in order for me to continue and not give up. And such was the case with this fantastic book. After a few pages, I'd pegged Peter Thornton as an unsympathetic, detached, and possibly a bit autistic man. But of course, the blurb had told me that he would develop a very unusual gift, so I knew things were about to change. Rare gifts tend to change people. So I kept reading.

While reading the rest of the book, which was very hard to put down by the way, I began to understand why the author had described Peter like this. His personal journey through enlightenment and self-discovery had to be made believable, and what better way to show how much a man can grow by making him an intolerable person right at the beginning?

I guess I found this book so inspiring because the story made me believe that all people can grow to be better, even the people whom I don't personally like myself, even people that I just can't identify with. We are all on our own path, and those paths might cross occasionally, but you can't walk someone else's path, nor can you force anyone to walk yours. In the end, we'll all end up where we're supposed to.

More 5.0 out of 5 stars on Amazon for VISUALIZATION—Creating Your Own Universe

Brilliant

What a brilliant book! I was recently gifted this book from a friend of mine because he thought I would find it "interesting". Boy, was he right! The author challenges you to leave behind preconceived notions and allow the book to be your gentle guide to a new understanding of the world. This was a very absorbing read, and I very much enjoyed the way this major work expanded on and complemented the author's three volumes of essays: Beyond Religion I, II, and III. It, even as the essays, really made me think. Fantastic read.
