I go there every time since I hate Ralphs, Vons and other hyped up super expensive grocery stores that are praying on snobbish Anglo - saxons. this store has everything you need with super low prices. excellent for bbq, they have pre - marinated chicken legs cut in half (Pedros locos), everyone who tried it goes crazy for the taste. Excellent and fresh fruits and vegetables including pamigranates

Although it appears to be a Latino market at first glance, the owners are actually Persian and they stock Persian and Middle Eastern food products too. Halal goat and mutton, spices and condiments, basmati rice and other grains and legumes, pita and lavash breads.

The prices in this store are not as costly as the others. I love going to this place because the people are so nice to me, they are always smiling and asking if I need anything else.

I grew up going to the top valu all of my life. I love shopping there, but I would never eat their hot food there ever again. It's not only expensive, but the food made me vomit and made me feel nauseous. When I told my friends, they were like "No one ever eats at top valu, because of that"! and I didn't know. I thought that maybe it was just me, but I went there again and ordered some fries, and it happened again. Never going to eat there ever again. I'll buy groceries, but never the hot food. (:

I bought 1 pound of Don Francisco Queso Fresco from their meat dept. last week. The next day I made a carne asada sandwich with a couple of the slices of the cheese. After my second bite, I noticed a weird smell. I took my sandwich apart and checked everything. The beans, meat, veges, and hot sauce were ok, IT WAS THE CHEESE! I held it up to my nose, then threw it in the trash. Then I went to open the bag where the rest of the cheese was, and omg, it was absolutely putrid! I ran to the bathroom and made myself throw up so I wouldn't get nausea or worse. Last year I bought packaged chicken here, and it was spoiled as well. It really concerns me this time because I almost gave my baby some cheese. I am officially done with this place!
