Friendly and knowledgeable technician. Far too expensive!!! $200 to replace a $5.00 switch. Took 38 minutes. Tech = great. Company = short-term view. No repeat business. I will not call them again.

Andy's came out to look at a brand new dryer that came from the factory, equipped with welding spatter on every surface of the interior. This spatter ruined over $300 worth of sheets, blouses and other fine linens. As a test I had tried to smooth some of the surface burrs with scotch brite to keep as many people out of the process as possible hoping that I could fix it--to no avail, but when the service technician from Andy's saw the slight scuff marks on the interior, he immediately assumed that I had "run sharp objects" through the dryer and blamed everything on me. On his way out the door he sarcastically commented on our wood burning stove questioning "did you install that yourself? The top surface temperature is $412 degrees." I informed him that that was normal and that it had been installed by professionals to code. I had him check the side temperatures and they were CONSIDERABLY lower (to design), but he totally disregarded my comments, assumed that I was being dishonest, and made me feel very uncomfortable. He then proceeded to report the issue to Maytag as a non warranty, user error issue. I contacted Maytag direct and spoke with a manager about the issue. Maytag agreed to pay for the repairs. Andy's, however refused to accept the contract.... Enough said.

I have used this company on more than one occasion, and they have not only accurately diagnosed the problems we've had with our washer and dryer, but given us helpful tips when looking for new ones. They call the day before your appointment with a 2 hour window. Arnie is the tech who has come the last two times, and he is very thorough, courteous and personable. He called 45 minutes before the 2 hour window, and asked if it was okay to arrive withing the next 10 minutes (which it was). He goes out of his way to show you the problems he's found, what would be required to repair it, and whether or not the particular machine is worth fixing. I highly recommend them---they are my go-to appliance repair company!

I highly recommend Andy's! They come and will fix what makes sense to fix and tell you what is not worth fixing.

They sent a technician out as promptly as they could, and on the day he was supposed to arrive, he showed up 15 minutes before they announced he would be there! Most of the time when I've dealt with a repair person's arrival, this concept has been unheard of. Upon arrival, the gentleman (Randy, for those of you curious) quickly realized what the issue was, and even managed to give me options in a polite, professional way. The problem with my refrigerator was easily fixed by him, and not terribly expensive either. All in all, a very pleasant experience, all things considered.
