A writer trapped in a cook's body
Introduction
I cook.  I clean. I write intriguing stories almost daily.  I love my family, the three years I spent cooking at a retirement community, BBQ, great books, the food of the South and I have an interesting relationship with God.  My novel, Doughnuts for Amy, will return in the Spring of 2014 under the Winter Goose Publishing label.  I write about all of it here  Recently I've turned my penchant for clever social media management into a small business, Jack Russell Consulting.

I try to share a smile every day. I hold the title of Kingsford Charcoal Flame Master, Who's Who in American BBQ (Bon Appetit Magazine) James Beard best chef Southeast semi-finalist (2008), Disney World Food & Wine Festival guest chef six times over. Happily married since 1987 with two adopted kids and one too many cats.
