Does anybody knows how to contact the real owners of The Pointe at WYO? I would like to discuss the fairness of their policy of not canceling a lease agreement if a student is no longer enrolled at the University of Wyoming at Laramie. ***************************************************** As mentioned in the previous post, The Pointe at WYO would not cancel a lease even in special circumstances where a student would have to withdraw from the University of Wyoming and move abroad with the family. Now, on top of not canceling the lease and continuing to charge us $510 per month, we have received a notice to pay “Electric Overcharge”! For a room that was unoccupied for 4 months, with the leasing office having received the room keys! I would strongly suggest to University of Wyoming prospective students and their parents to consider the first options renting an apartment owned and managed by the University of Wyoming. I will keep posting updates on this situation. *********************************** When you sign the lease, make sure that you have the money to pay for a full year. If you cannot attend the University of Wyoming (for reasons such as health, family issues, financial hardship, transfer to another university) you cannot cancel the lease, and you WILL be charged for an entire year.
