On Friday 22nd August I borrowed recording equipment from The Circle Shop Sheffield (https://www.facebook.com/CircleShopSheffield) to film my world record attempt. Having the full footage on film is an important part of getting my attempt at breaking the record (which I did, with 1265 grand battements) verified because I couldn't afford to pay the expensive fees needed to have a Guinness Verifier on site on the day.

I was promised that the footage I recorded on the camera would be transferred to me digitally that following weekend. It wasn't and I heard no further from the individual who assured me she would be performing this task. So yesterday I chased it up in person, to find out that not only had this person NOT transferred the footage, she hadn't even ensured that it was backed up. The SD card containing my footage has since been removed from the camera, and the camera itself has been used by at least 5 different people. None of the individuals concerned have been able to locate the footage or the card with my data on.

I logged on to Facebook today to find this video had been posted on my wall, by Tim Newark the 'head honcho' at Circle Shop. Clearly intoxicated on some substance or another, he is baiting me into accepting a challenge to re-do my world record attempt which he believes he will 'beat'. I've been subjected to some pretty insensitive and harsh stuff in my time, but this really takes the biscuit. I hope everyone who reads this post watches this video.
