The International Friendship Garden
This is a little garden that was built in 2009 right behind one of our local libraries. Even though the lighting was too bright (and it was windy) I thought I'd stop in for a few quick photos since I'd never visited in the fall before.

September Veggies and Flowers
Autumn is nearly here and we have finally had some much needed rain. The days are cooler too, which is much to my liking. My two cucumbers plants did really well this year, and they produced more cucumbers than we could possibly eat. I have shared and s...

There hasn't been a lot blooming in my garden in the last month, but I did manage to get a few photos of my King of Striped Crocus. It's a good thing I took them when I did, because a couple of days later a deer came along and ate every single one. He o...

Snow!
It's been a very snowy start to February, in fact we've broken snowfall records. It's been snowing off and on for four days now, and there is still more to come. On the bright side, the snow brings varied thrushes down from the mountains and into my yard....
