1) Hospitality and Nostalgia: At Maxwelton Braes Lodge we pride ourselves on helping you feel comfortable, relaxed, and take part in Door County history. The Maxwelton Braes Golf Course located on-site was built in 1929. At that time, the Clubhouse was only for select members and their invited guests. After a few years, the Clubhouse went public. As you stay with us, step back in time, become part of this magnificent history yet look forward to the amenities expected of today’s guests like wifi and air conditioning.

2) Serenity: Baileys Harbor in Door County is located on the Lake Michigan side of the Peninsula. Although much quieter than the bay side, Baileys Harbor offers shopping, dining, plenty of sight-seeing, kayaking, fishing, biking, hiking, and just about anything you could imagine you’d want in a vacation. With more room to explore, Baileys Harbor offers an ideal vacation to those who want to have it all but not hear it all.
