However, our existing education system is oriented towards material development; neglecting inner values. Consequently we lack a clear awareness of the inner values that are the basis of a happy life
Some of the tools I used, like Socrative and PollEverywhere. Socrative is outstanding if your goal is peer-to-peer interaction and putting students into a role of teachers as it allows students to answer questions from other students.
PollEverywhere is especially effective in a traditional classroom situation. I used to hate it, but then got a chance to observe it in action for one of Audiology courses here at Pacific. Students love immediate results and feedback. Really contributes to student engagement during lecture time. Also lets instructor know where students are in their learning immediately, so it is easy to adjust the path of instruction on the spot to prevent any "misunderstandings." Also integrates well with LMSes. You can easily embed it into weekly modules. Will have to check out the rest of the tools.
